Polyphasic sleep!

We do not just ~*sleep*~ as some argue when they’re really tired. In actually fact there are five stages to sleep, and i present them to you in order of occurence and not depth. (Because i do believe the dreaming aspect coincides more accurately with that mentioned in the description under Disorders (see two posts earlier if you will).

Polyphasic sleep.

So yes, such is the progression of falling asleep, which would explain why sometimes we wake up feeling really groggy, but other times fully awake and recharged. Also it provides suggestions to why we may be very tired after dreaming, or how impermanent light sleeping rest is. Next time i wake up feeling groggy i’d know i was either interrupted at Stage 3, or have overslept too much. :P
